  • Matrax Provides Wheelchair Beach Access For Children August 8, 2017 Parents of disabled children have had a difficult time in New Jersey showing their children the beauty of the beach due to the lack of wheelchair accessibility.  Jessica Krill, a Seaside Park New Jersey mom, has been struggling for years with the lack of handicap accessibility for her two children with special needs. This June, Krill focused specifically on campaigning to improve the accessibility of Seaside Park beaches.   • EverBank Field Renovation October 14, 2016 Home Of The Jacksonville Jaguars In December 2015, Matrax Inc. was contacted by the General Contractor that was in the process of providing a $90M renovation to EverBank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars. A significant component of the project consisted of retrofitting the US Assure Club sections on the east and west side of the stadium. This included the removal and replacement of heavy sections of precast concrete.   • Site Access for Hydroelectric Dam July 14, 2016 Supporting Dam Safety Engineers in Conestoga, PA Matrax, Inc. was contacted by dam safety engineers to provide a 50’ foot temporary bridge over a section of asphalt roadway to the concrete deck of a hydroelectric dam that had undergone settlement and was deemed unsuitable for heavy vehicular traffic. The primary purpose of this 50’ foot temporary bridge is to allow a 54 ton crane safe access to the dam over the next several months to retrieve transformers and other equipment scheduled for repair.   • Site Access Over Ruxton Creek June 1, 2016 Modular Bridge Helps Support the Residents of Manitou Springs, Colorado Matrax Inc. worked with City of Manitou Spring officials to re-establish a residential access road for community residents using a 55’ long modular bridge. Flooding from excessive rainfall over the past few years had resulted in degradation of an earthen culvert system spanning Ruxton Creek. (ATSI) has installed nearly 50 miles of new 345-kV transmission line in northwest Ohio to mitigate the effects of generation retirements and to address bulk transmission system contingencies. On Sept. 26, the FirstEnergy (NYSE:FE) subsidiary filed a letter of notification (LON) with the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) proposing to install 48 miles of new line on the open arm of the existing Allen Junction-Midway-Lemoyne line. The port’s porous wooden docks were contaminated with high concentrations of parasites that adversely affected the local fish farming industry.
