Site Access Over Ruxton Creek
Modular Bridge Helps Support the Residents of Manitou Springs, Colorado
Matrax Inc. worked with City of Manitou Spring officials to re-establish a residential access road for community residents using a 55’ long modular bridge.
Flooding from excessive rainfall over the past few years had resulted in degradation of an earthen culvert system spanning Ruxton Creek. This resulted in the local officials to deemed the road unsafe for vehicular traffic. They decided to look into other options to allow local traffic to continue in this area. That is why they decided to use a 55′ long modular bridge as as an access road.
The HS25 capacity modular steel bridge was fabricated in 4 weeks, shipped to the site on a flatbed truck, lifted in place by a small crane, and ready to serve local traffic in a matter of hours.
These are the types of modular bridges that the Matrax team can build, ship and help properly get into place for local municipalities. If your city or state is looking for a bridge supplier contact Matrax Inc. to see if we can help.
