Joseph L. Winkler tapped Matrax for over 9,000 square feet of matting to access an extremely challenging stream restoration job site in Baltimore County. Using a combination of 3-ply timber mats and 16′ crane mats, the contractor created an access road and digging platform in muddy, soft and very tight conditions. The project is part of the Chesapeake Bay watershed restoration initiatives designed to stabilize stream banks and beds to help improve the overall health of the Bay.
