Wrigley Field Renovation Project
The multi-stage, $575 million project to renovate Wrigley Field began at the close of baseball season in 2014. Structural upgrades, improved player facilities, new fan amenities, outfield signage, two video boards, new premier clubs, expanded concessions and much more are included in the plans. Working during the off season, teams of construction crews worked within stringent schedules and took extra precautions to ensure no damage was inflicted on the structure or the grounds .the ballpark would be ready for opening day.
Matrax 4 x 4 HD Provided Installed to Protect the Plaza Pavers
Over 15,000 square feet of Matrax 4×4 HD modular flooring panels were used to safeguard the pavers in the plaza area. With a compression strength of 450 psi and a maximum wheel load of 300 psi, the flooring system provided the load spread needed to support heavy construction vehicles and equipment.
